ABOUT THESE TEMPLATES

Our Request for Proposals (RFP) templates are intended for school districts wishing to procure home Internet access for K-12 student households who lack connectivity during COVID-19.

They can help you get started with your procurement process or as a reference point throughout.  The purpose of using an RFP as a procurement strategy is primarily to reduce or eliminate barriers to student household broadband adoption.

As every district is different, it is impossible to build a template that is “one size fits all,” so remember to adapt these to meet your own local needs and regulations or contact us for template language specific to your scenario.

WHO SHOULD USE THESE RFP TEMPLATES?

Any entity that leads the procurement to purchase home Internet access for K-12 students who lack connectivity during COVID-19. For example, individual school districts, state agencies, community-based organizations, purchasing cooperatives, etc.

WHICH TEMPLATE SHOULD I USE?

If you seek fixed residential broadband services, like a cable or DSL service, choose the Residential template.

If you are seeking mobile broadband services, like personal hotspots, then choose the Mobile template.
